Dr. Kyong Beach
Biography
Dr. Beach's educational journey is a testament to her diverse background and dedication to the field of education. Born and raised in Korea, Dr. Beach began her academic journey in Korean schools for her primary education. However, her pursuit of higher education led her to American schools, where she obtained a Bachelor's degree in both Early Childhood and Elementary Education. Her passion for leadership and academic excellence further propelled her to earn a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and a Doctorate focusing on Emotional Intelligence and Second Language Learning.
Throughout her illustrious career, Dr. Beach has had the opportunity to teach a wide range of grade levels, including language immersion and multi-age classes. Her diverse teaching experiences have equipped her with a deep understanding of the complexities and nuances of education, enabling her to create engaging and inclusive learning environments for her students.
For the past 31 years, Dr. Beach has been an integral part of the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA), where she has continuously demonstrated her commitment to fostering academic excellence and nurturing the growth and development of her students. Her leadership, dedication, and innovative approach to education have earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues, students, and the broader educational community.
